Support Long Island Cares – Bring a Can, Make a Difference!
The Huntington Bicycle Club is proud to once again support Long Island Cares – The Harry Chapin Food Bank as part of our 2026 Gold Coast Bike Ride on Sunday, July 12.
We invite all riders to bring a non-perishable food item to drop in our donation bin at the start of the ride. Your generosity will help feed families in need right here on Long Island.
Most-needed items include:
- Canned tuna or chicken
- Canned vegetables & beans
- Peanut butter & jelly (plastic jars)
- Pasta & rice
- Cereal & oatmeal
Let’s show the power of our cycling community by filling the bin—and helping Long Island Cares continue its critical mission.
Every can counts. Every mile matters. Together, let’s ride with a purpose.
