This is an 18-mile ride to Huntington Bay, with a stop at Panera‘s at mile 10. It is a scenic ride that includes some hills.
A relatively flat ride down to Heckscher Park and Timber point. Our stop will be at the golf course
bike path starting out in Brewster to the Walkway Over the Hudson riding on both the Maybrook Trailway and Dutchess rail trail Take trail to New Paltz and stop at the Brooklyn Cider House at Twin Star Orchards
Rolling hills, but does include an uphill climb on Stillwell. (and a downhill on the way back)
Reasonably flat ride to Stuff-a-Bagel in Bethpage.
Target Rock and Caumsett loop
LIMIT 6 RIDERS Start will be from the Harborfields library at 9 AM. Park on Ann Street. This is a challenging ride with lots of elevation one way to Port Jeff. We will stop for a lunch break at the Tara Inn in Port Jeff and take the LIRR train back to the Greenlawn Station at 2 PM. We get back at 2:41 pm into Greenlawn. We will not have an extended stop for food along the way but will have multiple breaks for bathrooms and photos and bathrooms. Bring food and hydration for stops. Our food break will be at Tara Inn in Port Jeff before we take the train back to Greenlawn. Limit of 6 riders because of the train capacity from Port Jeff. Ride ends in Port Jeff. You are responsible for taking the train back to Greenlawn and getting back to the library.
